The NFL and the Los Angeles Rams reached a settlement worth $790 million with the St. Louis region. A lawsuit alleged that the Rams violated NFL relocation laws and broke Missouri law when they left St. Louis to head for Los Angeles in 2016.
Tuesday saw all parties meet in mediation to try and reach an agreement before a January trial. This was after a series court rulings favoring St. Louis attorneys.
St. Louis City, St. Louis County, and the Regional Convention and Sports Complex Authority will split the $790 million – after legal fees of course.
The Missouri region was awarded millions of dollars in damages as a result of trying to keep their team in Missouri.
