Badie is back to his best as Mizzou gets closer to bowl eligibility

Tyler Badie, the Mizzou running back, ran 34 times to gain 209 yards. The Tigers defense forced 3 turnovers, sack the quarterback 3 times and had 3 tackles for loss. While holding the Gamecocks to 250 yards of offense, the defense also had three interceptions. The Tigers won 31-28. It was Mizzou’s fifth win of the season and with two games to play are now just one win from bowl eligibility. The 2018 season saw Mizzou play in the Liberty Bowl in Memphis.

Badie’s fourth 200-yard game was his most successful season in school history. He also climbed to fifth place on Missouri’s single-season rushing chart. He now has 1,239 yards for the season.

When they host the Florida Gators, Mizzou will conclude the home portion of their schedule at 3 p.m.
